House Strategies Group built this site from the public record before proposals were due: the CSN-NFA agreement's placement table and equity-study clause, the NSHE community college salary schedule, and the RFP. The method page runs the full analysis on a synthetic faculty file so the Salary Equity Committee can see exactly how each result is produced.
The RFP and Article 7, Section 4 of the CSN-NFA agreement ask the same thing: is each faculty member's salary appropriate compared with the salaries of other CSN faculty, given years of experience and educational attainment? Part-time, adjunct and administrative faculty are outside the study. A market survey is outside it too; the RFP says the ranges are set and the College cannot adjust them.
An expected salary built from the agreement's own placement rules, and a statistical model fitted to the whole faculty. A member flagged by both is a strong case. A member flagged by one goes to the Committee with the reason shown.
Each recommended adjustment comes with its salary and benefits cost, a rule the Committee can explain, and a phasing plan that works at whatever funding level CSN identifies by June 15.
The agreement requires a published method, a written result for each member, and an appeals path. We write all three from the first week, and leave CSN a model it can rerun in FY29.

The CBA placement table exactly as published, and the NSHE community college schedule for FY26 and FY27. Where we convert the table to current dollars, the page says it is our arithmetic and that CSN Human Resources' table governs.
A generated file of 486 faculty records with known problems planted in it, so you can watch the method find them. It is seeded, so every visitor sees the same population. No CSN employee appears anywhere on this site.
Tab 2 asks proposers to show how they would use data to test whether faculty salaries fit experience, column placement and education. The posted RFP package contains no data file, so we used the public schedules and a synthetic faculty file and ran the method in full. During the study the same code runs on the file CSN Human Resources provides, and the Committee sees every step.
